Leyla Spratley is a sub-editor at The World of Interiors, based in London. She wrote her MA dissertation in 2021 on queer intimacies, surgery and skin on the early 20th-century stage, and still spends her spare time reading grisly books about surgical history. She’s interested in WH Auden, Brazilian Modernism, Surrealism and set design.
